Bangin buffalo chicken bean dip

  • 1 can (15 oz) red beans, drained and rinsed (you can use black if you prefer)
  • 1 can (15 oz) refried beans
  • 1 cup cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie-style is ideal)
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (I mix cheeses)
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • Cream cheese (I use greek yogurt and cream cheese)
  • Tortilla chips or vegetables, for serving



  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the black beans, refried beans, shredded chicken, and buffalo sauce.
  3. Mix until well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the mixture.
  6. Bake the dip in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Sprinkle the sliced green onions over the top of the dip.
  8. Serve the dip hot with tortilla chips or vegetables for dipping.
