Flour Tortillas

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt 
  • 3/4 cup water 
  • 3 tbs olive oil

  1. Combine flour and salt, add water and oil. 
  2. Knead dough 10-12 times until smooth, roll into a ball, and let rest for 10 minutes  
  3. Divide dough into 8 or 16 portions (or whatever number you want), depending on if you want small or large tortillas. 
  4. Roll out each portion into a thin circle
  5. Grease skillet with a little bit of oil or butter, cook tortillas until they bubble and brown, about 1 minute on each side.
