how to cook quinoa

  • 1 part Quinoa 
  • 2 part water
  • salt

  1. Rinse quinoa
  2. Put quinoa and water in a saucepan. Boil over medium-high heat, then decrease to gentle simmer. Cook until quinoa has absorbed all of the water (10-20 min.) Continue to reduce heat to maintain gentle simmer.
  3. Remove the pot from heat, cover, and let the quinoa steam for 5 minutes.  Fluff the quinoa with a fork.
