Pizza (and wine) night!

  • Pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil


  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness and shape. Brush the dough with olive oil.
  4. Spread the tomato sauce over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the tomato sauce.
  6. Add the cooked ground beef on top of the cheese.
  7. Add the chopped onions, green bell pepper, and sliced mushrooms.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy your homemade pizza with ground beef!
