Sunday Pancakes

  • 2 cups  + 2 Tbsp All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1 Tbsp melted butter
  • Olive oil
  • Cinamon (Optional)
  • Nutmeg (Optional)
  • Toppings - fruit, jam, honey, whatever you have!

  1.  Prepare dry ingredients: In a mixing bowl whisk together the dry ingredients: 2 cups plus 2 Tbsp flour, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 2 tsp baking powder, 1 Tbsp of sugar, and 1/4 tsp of salt. Add cinnamon or nutmeg (or whatever else you want to add in there!)
  2. Prepare wet ingredients: In a smaller mixing bowl whisk together wet ingredients: 3 eggs, 2 cups buttermilk, and 1 Tbsp melted butter.
  3. Fire it up: Fire that skillet up with some butter or olive oil, bb.
  4. Blend wet and dry: While that heats up, mix wet and dry ingredients by hand till well whisked. The batter should feel like a silky THICC blanket.
  5. Pour on pan: Pour two large circles on the pan with a large spoon of some sort (they will expand) about 2 minutes on each side till golden brown.
  6. Almost ready: Remove finished pancakes from the skillet and serve warm. Repeat the process with the rest of the batter.
  7. Toppings: Add fruits, syrup, honey, butter, jam - whatever ya want! They're ready!
