Saturday Morning Pancakes

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups almond milk
  • Lemon
  • 4tbsp melted butter
  • Large splash of vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg

  1. Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl (flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt) until combined.
  2. Create a depression in the middle of the dry ingredients and pour in: almond milk, egg, melted butter, vanilla extract, and lemon.
  3. Mix well until there aren't any lumps in the batter.
  4. Heat oil or butter on a large pan, wait until it's nice and hot.
  5. Use 1/4 cup of batter at a time and cook pancakes until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Serve with fresh fruit and berry sauce
